100 g Butter cut in cubes
2 Eggs
100 g Caster sugar
200 g Powder sugar
100 g Plain flour
3/4 tbsp Baking powder
ca. 80 ml Orange juice

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a cake tin.

Melt the butter in a heat proof bowl on top of barely simmering water. Beat the eggs, caster sugar and 100 g powder sugar in a large bowl until airy and fluffy. Add the melted butter. Add the sifted flour and baking powder to the mixture. Stir well and carefully add the juice of 1 orange. Pour the batter in the tin and bake in the oven for 20-25 min.

In the meantime, mix the remaining powder sugar and orange juice.

Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool. Place it on a tray and divide the glazing equally on top. Keep it in a cool place.
