100 g Crystal sugar
30 g Cocoa powder

150 g Dry biscuits

This chocolate salami, or salame di cioccolato, is crunchy and delicious. The chocolate salami has given a great taste through the marsala wine, an Italian almond wine, and the amaretti cookies.

Melt the chocolate au bain marie. When the chocolate is melted, remove the bowl and let it cool a bit.

Take a bowl and mix the butter with the sugar until creamy. Add the cocoa powder, the marsala wine and the melted chocolate.

Crumble the amaretti cookies and the biscuits. Leave some larger pieces. Stir it through the batter, together with 1 – 3 tablespoons of milk, until the dough comes together.

Put a sheet of baking paper on the work surface and divide the batter into a long narrow strip. Then roll the bar of batter into the baking paper and tear off the excess paper. Fold the ends closed. Then roll in aluminum foil to give shape to the salami. Leave in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Remove the salami from the fridge and from the aluminum foil and baking paper. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into slices for serving. Store the salami in the refrigerator.
