350 g Cranberries
1 stick Cinnamon
50 g Caster sugar
December has begun and we’re counting down to Christmas. It’s time to fill your house with the delicious smells of Christmas and to fill your pantry. A great way to kick start those busy holidays.
Wash the orange under hot water and pat it dry. Grate the zest of the orange and then squeeze out the juice. Bring the cranberries, the orange juice, the zest, the cinnamon stick, the sugar to a boil with 50 ml water. Let it simmer on low heat for 10-12 min. Stir it occasionally. Put the compote in a clean, rinsed pot. Seal it and let it cool.
